The crossing
Cross the open Atlantic between São Miguel and Santa Maria aboard the MobyDick-Tours catamaran, on a rare inter-island festival voyage.

Your Maré de Agosto festival ticket is included — four days of music and summer on one of the quieter Azorean islands.
The return
Sail home on 23 August — the same calm, unhurried crossing, with São Miguel rising from the sea as you approach.

Boarding
You must be at the dock at least 30 minutes before departure. This is mandatory for both the outbound (19 Aug) and return (23 Aug) journeys.
Luggage
Each passenger may bring one small trolley / carry-on. For anything larger, please contact MobyDick-Tours in advance.

Crossings depend on sea and weather conditions, and may be adjusted, delayed or cancelled for safety.
Refund policy
The €90 ticket (festival ticket plus crossing) is non-refundable, except in the case of cancellation or postponement of the trip.
Festival ticket included
The €90 per person covers both the round-trip crossing and your entry to the Maré de Agosto festival — one price for all ages.
How it works: book online and pay €90. On the day of the trip you receive a physical ticket on board. In Santa Maria you exchange it for your festival bracelet — either at the Santa Maria marina or at the festival ticket offices (bilheterias) next to the Maré de Agosto grounds at Praia Formosa.

Is this a round trip?
Yes. The booking includes São Miguel → Santa Maria on 19 August and Santa Maria → São Miguel on 23 August.
Is the price the same for adults and children?
Yes. The package — round-trip crossing plus festival ticket — is €90 per person, the same for all ages.
Where do we board in São Miguel?
Boarding is expected at Portas do Mar Marina, Ponta Delgada. Final boarding details are confirmed after booking.
Where do we board in Santa Maria?
The return departs from Vila do Porto. Final details are confirmed after booking.
What time do we leave?
The outbound leaves São Miguel on 19 August at 14:00; the return leaves Santa Maria on 23 August at 15:30. Each crossing takes about 3 hours. Be at the dock at least 30 minutes before departure — this is mandatory.
What happens if sea conditions are not safe?
The trip may be changed, delayed or cancelled depending on weather and maritime safety conditions. We will contact you with any updates.
Does the ticket include festival entry?
Yes. The €90 package includes both the round-trip crossing and your Maré de Agosto festival ticket.
How do I get my festival bracelet?
